Born and raised in Phoenix, I graduated from Deer Valley High School in 1987 and received my teaching degree from Northern Arizona University. I have been teaching Social Studies for 20 years, and love what I do. After having coached sports at Deer Valley for 15 years, I'm now enjoying spending time with my family. I'm married to my beautiful wife, Katie, and have two adorable kids, Emee Lou who is nine, and Jackson who is seven.
Besides my family and teaching, my other passions in life include music, movies, and sports. I also love visiting New York City to see my little sister, and taking the family to San Diego during the summer.
