Students may do up to 8% extra credit per semester. Examples of extra credit are listed below:
Extra Credit topics for 1st Semester can come from the following subjects:
-Ancient Greece -Ancient Rome -World Religions -Middle Ages -Reniassance -Reformation
-Exploration -Enlightenment -Scientific Revolution -French Revolution / Napoleon
Examples:
Internet Write-Ups: 1% each
Look up info about ANY topic that will has or will be covered this semester, and write out a FULL page (front & back) of details. You must cite the internet site(s) used. You can use information online videos as well.
Powerpoints: 1% to 3% each
Create a Powerpoint that covers a topic that has been covered or will be covered this semester. Must have a minimum of 5 slides and be sure to include images or other graphics that are related to your topic. The more slides of info and more images you include can increase the amount of extra credit it is worth.
